Microsoft has delayed the release of the Fable reboot, pushing it to February 2027. The decision allows the game to have its own moment, avoiding the crowded fall release schedule that includes Grand Theft Auto VI, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Gears of War: E-Day.

Xbox is hosting another Free Play Days event, allowing players to try out several games at no extra cost from May 28 to May 31. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential can enjoy Formula Legends and Dying Light: Definitive Edition, while all Xbox users can access Gears of War: Reloaded and a trial of High on Life 2.

A fan-made remake of Need for Speed Underground 2, titled 2Unreal5Underground (TUFU), is being developed in Unreal Engine 5. A new video demonstrates improved driving physics, AI traffic, and an Outrun race mode. The project is estimated to be 75% complete.
