Peter Jackson has revealed he will not be directing The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, which is set to begin filming in New Zealand. Jackson said Andy Serkis, who played Gollum, will make a more exciting film. The premiere is scheduled for December 17, 2027.
