Atari Acquires Rights to Early Wizardry Games, Plans Remasters and New Titles

Atari has acquired the rights to the first five Wizardry titles, including the original Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. The company plans to re-release the games in digital and physical formats, as well as create remasters and new games. This move revives a classic RPG series.
