The Steam Festival dei Mari is underway, offering discounts on games with maritime or underwater settings. The sale, which runs until May 25, features titles like Subnautica, Skull and Bones, and others.

Ubisoft is adding new content to Skull and Bones, the open-world pirating RPG that launched in February 2024. The third year's content, titled Sails of Power, will focus on naval battles and new challenges in the Indian Ocean, with the first season launching on May 12.

Ubisoft has terminated the AC League project and eliminated 200 positions at its Saint-Mandé headquarters. Industry observers point to talent drain and resistance to new ideas as contributing factors to the company's challenges.
