Arkane Austin's critically acclaimed Dishonored was initially conceived as a sequel to the Thief franchise or a Blade Runner adaptation. Bethesda ultimately greenlit the project as a standalone title, built on the foundations of the canceled Thief 4.

Annapurna Interactive's Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth has vanished from Steam, suggesting the project is dead. The game aimed to bridge the gap between the two films.
